On the brink of dismissal: how prosecutor Artem Shishov came under investigation over Alena Ivanova’s illegal swimming pool

Journalists have learned of the possible imminent resignation of the hero of our publications — prosecutor of Naro-Fominsk, Artem Shishov.

And all because of his close ties with the former wife of the ex-head of the local police department (and also a former MVD officer) Alena Ivanova.

According to available information, there are questions regarding Shishov’s "activities" from the prosecutor of the Moscow region, Zabaturin, and his first deputy Gantsev. As a result, a comprehensive inspection of the Naro-Fominsk prosecutor’s office is expected to begin in August.

Shishov himself assures within his inner circle that Zabaturin and Gantsev can do nothing to him, as he resolves all issues with them through his connections in the Prosecutor General’s Office.
We’ll see how it actually plays out.

Recently, Shishov has become somewhat of a "celebrity" in Naro-Fominsk. And all because of his close interactions with another heroine of ours — Alena Ivanova (now Artamonova).

How Shishov covered for Alena and her friend, Naro-Fominsk police officer Elena Korasteleva, when they — drunk — got into a brawl at a bar and then raced around the area, knocking down barriers.

Now Alena has once again needed the prosecutor’s help.
In Naro-Fominsk, there is a swimming pool called "Flamingo," which belongs to the individual entrepreneur Alena Ivanova.

In 2024, the previous city prosecutor filed a lawsuit, which the court upheld, to close the pool because it cannot be located in a multi‑apartment residential building.

However, then Shishov became the city prosecutor.
Despite a court decision that has been upheld and entered into force in three instances, the pool continues to operate.

The bailiffs have been ordered by the Naro-Fominsk prosecutor’s office to ignore the court ruling and not to interfere with the pool’s operations.
